Rosario Pipolo (Naples, 1973) is an Italian journalist and blogger. He blogs on indipendent Italian online newspapers Linkiesta.it and Affaritaliani.it.

STUDIES – He graduated with honors in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Federico II University of Naples with a thesis on cdrom and specialized in Web Communication at IED Milan.

FROM PAPER TO DIGITAL – From 1994 to 2001 he wrote about culture and entertainment working for italian newspapers (Il Golfo, Il Tempo, Il Giornale), television (Eutelsat, Tele +, Videomusic) radio (FM Quintarete), as guest on foreign press (Le Corse-Matin) and collecting more than 300 interviews such as Dustin Hoffman, B.B. King, Robert Altman, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Emir Kusturica, Whoopi Gooldberg, Jack Nicholson, Annie Lennox, Bob Geldof, John Turturro, Charles Aznavour, Juliette Greco, Mariza, Gilberto Gil. He developed and realized audiovisual products.
Moved to Milan in 2002, he was editor of online and offline contents for Lavazza, Mediadigit, Sole 24 Ore, De Agostini and Fininternet. Consultant in business education (Communication and Safety) for client companies as Selfin-IBM, T-Systems, Ball-ENEL, Nestle, BNL, Campari, E-Biscom, AGFA, Del Monte, from 2006 to 2011 he was managing director of the web magazine Milanodabere.it, during the start-up beginning of editorial reference  for Italian entertainment on the Internet.

CINEMA – In the 90s he was President of CinemAvvenire panel(Anica Flash Award) at the Venice Film Festival directed by Gillo Pontecorvo and creator of the project Fellini 2000 in collaboration with Mediaset and Fellini Foundation in memory of Italian director Federico Fellini

RESEARCH AND TEACHING AT UNIVERSITY – From 1999 to 2002 he lectured at the Department of Theory and Techniques of Mass Communications of the Faculty of Sociology, University “Federico II” of Naples. He took part in research projects “Management of communication in crisis situation” (CE.MI.SS, Ministry of Defense, 2000); Eureka (Leonardo 2000); Agapè (Leonardo, Campania Region, 2001) and the organization of the conference “Communications, crisis, media and society” (2001). His scientific contribution on the special issue of the journal “North & South” (ESI, 2000), edited by Rossella Savarese.

PUBLICATIONS – He published the essay about Pinter “Harold Pinter sceneggiatore per Losey tra letteratura, cinema e multimedialità  (EDISU, Naples 1999); the novel L’ultima neve alla masseria (Edizioni Demian, Teramo 2012), presented at Crypt Gallery in London, Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud in Granada, Malzfabrik in Berlin and Design Week 2015 in Milan; the eBook 40 storie di un giornalista travestito da blogger con i lacci sciolti (Amazon self-publishing, 2014) about his life as a blogger.

The Archive and The Tour of the World – Work and passion for Cinema, Music, Theater and Comics are collected in a private archive of over 13,000 titles including books, magazines, music albums (150 complete discographies in 7,500 CDs and 3,000 vinyls from 5 continents), films, comics and memorabilia  from the Second World War to nowadays.
Since 1988 Globetrotter in 51 foreign countries + Alaska & Tibet and 5 continents: on April 26, 2019 at 5.50 pm he reached from Alaska, driving the Dalton Highway, the Arctic Polar Circle, the highest destination of his travelling worldwide.
